Gargantuan Guanacaste and spiny cedar trees surround a 27-yard, saltwater lap pool lined with Balinese furniture and chic orange umbrellas. You'll often find sun-loving yogis lounging on the pool deck, which flows directly into panoramic views of the Ananda Kutir outdoor dining hall.

White and pink flowers flurry atop stone bridges connecting the Yoga Village's upper-level pool deck, reception and dining hall with the lower-level porches of bungalows nestled into vibrant tropical dry forest.

Rooms

The Nosara Yoga Village nurtures R&R retreat guest' souls in its eight acres with its 27 rooms - five executive, five double deluxe and four private rooms, and four double and eight triple rooms with shared bathrooms.

Executive private rooms, $360 per night for the first person, $75 for the second person in high season (Nov.-Apr., and Jul.-Aug.), feature a canopy-draped king bed, A/C, Wi-Fi, stone sinks from Bali, and outdoor private showers.

R&R Retreat all-inclusive packages, $120-$360, include: accommodation in one of the Yoga Village's 27 rooms, daily breakfast/lunch at the Ananda Kutir dining hall, and complimentary yoga classes (one or two, depending on season), in the Nosara Yoga Institute's scenic Treetop Pavilion.

Dining Hall

Yoga Village R&R retreaters gather with teacher trainees in the breezy Ananada Kutir dining hall to enjoy uplifting conversations and make new friendships, or experience an introspective meal at tables designated for 'silent dining.'

Vegetarian Chef Marita Rios inspires her conscious-and-healthy buffet-style menu in Costa Rican local delicacies and the traditional yogic/Indian "lacto ovo vegetarian" philosophies to manifest a wide range of recipes:

  • Gallo pinto (mixed rice and beans)

  • Scrambled eggs and spiced tofu

  • Vegetarian rice • Vegetarian Lasagna

  • Avocados, pineapple, papaya, watermelon, banana

  • Steamed vegetables, salad bar with vinaigrette dressings

  • Brown rice, quinoa, seasoned legumes

  • Sweet potato pies

  • Cheese potatoes

  • Much more!

Cayenne pepper, pink Himalayan salt, pepper and a variety of hot sauces are always available on the dining hall's Balinese wood tables to season the meals.

The dining hall serves complimentary fresh brewed coffee, tea assortments, fruit juice and cold water through out the day.
